133 | When Fear Says “Quit” — But God Says “Keep Going”
Ever feel like you’re circling the same mountain, stuck in your head, your fears, and your insecurities — even though you know you’re called for more? I’ve been there too.
Hey friend —
In this heartfelt episode, I’m sharing my own personal story — how I almost quit, how I almost gave into the lies, and exactly how God taught me to break free and keep moving forward. If you’ve ever wrestled with smallness, self-doubt, or fear about fully stepping into your God-given assignment, this is for you.
You’ll hear:
• How fear intensifies when you step into your calling
• The difference between condemnation vs conviction
• Why many women get stuck in fear of failure or disappointing others
• How the enemy uses intimidation to keep you playing small
• The practical (and biblical) mindset shifts I made to finally break free
• Why standing in spiritual authority changes everything
💛 This one is short, powerful, and very personal. My prayer is that it ignites something fresh in you to keep going — even when the enemy whispers "quit."

SUBSCRI...
Hey friend, I want to share with you a heartfelt story today because, let me say it like this I know what it feels like to feel so stuck, stuck in your head, stuck in your thoughts, like you're circling that same dang mountain but you want different. I know what it feels like to actually start to believe the lies and to actually think that you know what. Maybe this is just it. Maybe this is all that this is about. This is all that's for me. I know, for my own life there's. I literally almost quit pushing forward because I started to believe the lies, that this was it and I had just this is all that there is for me. And here's the thing something inside me wouldn't give up. There was this little ember that knew I was made for more, and that's what I want to share with you. I want to share that with you today, the exact things that I did. Real quick welcome back to the podcast. I cannot tell you how grateful, truly grateful, I am that you are here and that you pushed play on this. I know your time is invaluable, invaluable, and I am going to just like kind of cut straight to the chase this week, and it's always my goal Number one. As a, I've got all sorts, I've got tons of coaching certifications, but this is a faith fueled approach to your life. This is a Jesus centered, jesus first approach to you, moving forward and walking, worthy of the calling that's inside of you. And I'm so passionate about this because of the things that I just mentioned to you. Passionate about this because of the things that I just mentioned to you.
Speaker 1:I studied all sorts of well. I became a life coach. I was already an integrative health and nutrition coach. Fitness and nutrition are my background and a passion of mine, still are. I love it. But I started to learn as I started to progress out of my own struggles and as a student of the word of God, I loved figuring out how the neuroscience is catching up with the Bible, but actually how to use it to transform my mind and my life. I was reading the Bible, but I was on the struggle bus with getting it to help me move forward, and I know you can probably relate with that on a whole bunch of levels. Right, here's the thing If you know that you're called for more and you sense that God is stirring something inside of you, but fear and intimidation and insecurity keep pulling you back into the same patterns. That is a sign of stuckedness. Is that a word? And that's what I was saying? I was there and I played small for far too long. I let fear and failure. I let fear of judgment, fear of disappointing people, fear of not being good enough, fear of of needing validation and affirmation from people to move forward, instead of just getting the approval from God move me forward from the assignment that God had given me. He'd get out like it was. Just I was so clear. God gave me this particular assignment and I needed to obey him. So that's why I'm recording this episode today and actually what this episode is. I was listening to it.
Speaker 1:I do one-on-one coaching. I do business and branding coaching. I do a whole lot of things, and one of the things that I have is like a Christian high-performance life coaching group called Walkworthy, and every morning, monday through Friday, I send them a Bible verse along with the coaching strategy to push them forward, and it's all within an integrated framework, and this one is fire. It shares a little bit of my story and I'm just grateful that God didn't give up on me, because I almost quit many times. He never gave up on me. He's so gracious and kind and loving, like his loving kindness is chasing after us, and the more we can learn to see the goodness of God and believe the goodness of God, the more it shapes our perspective into that spiritual reality that he's wanting to bring us to. So there's this knowing and believing and allowing the word of God to transform our mind, but sometimes it's hard when you have been believing lies for so long. So that's what I want to share with you in this.
Speaker 1:It's a pretty power-packed short podcast. We call it a FAT, a faith-activated text. So, anyway, I'm going to walk you through the exact steps that God showed me to finally, honestly to say, I broke free. I have freedom in this area now. Do I still get attacked at my identity? Yes, of course I do. Do I still have places where I feel intimidated and fear A hundred percent? But the more that we skill ourself to overcome the enemy and to understand his tactics and to walk forward in our identity, in our truth, in our true calling, it is such a powerful thing. So if you've ever felt like you're circling instead of activating and advancing, and if you're tired of playing small and if you're ready to step forward in courage. This episode is for you, my friend, so let's jump right into it. Transformation is a process and we are all a work in progress. So a good question to ask yourself is how am I progressing?
Speaker 1:Any voice of condemnation is from the enemy, so I want you to learn to recognize where condemnation is and where are you being too hard on yourself. I coach a lot of women, and women are hard on themselves, not in a healthy way, not in a way that's a good, positive thing, like there's an expectation that we should hold for ourselves, but there's also condemnation that comes from the enemy, condemnation that causes us to shrink and feel bad about ourselves. That is what I'm talking about that being too hard on yourselves. Where you feel bad about yourself and if you find that you're actually not moving forward, it could be that you're operating from not the place of light and love that Jesus Christ is coming from. Remember God's love is chasing after you.
Speaker 1:So conviction is different. Conviction is like uh-uh, yep, nope, that was sin. Uh-uh, nope, I didn't do so great. Yeah, no, I checked the time on my productivity on my phone yesterday and I was on there way too much. I'm going to do better today You're actually checking yourself and improving in a way that is good, in a way that is healthy.
Speaker 1:Okay, so I want to share with you another. I just felt very led this week to challenge you. I am here to encourage you, I am here to motivate you, to inspire you, but I know that true transformation is going to come when you're challenged, not coddled. And so if it feels like it's a little more than normal on these faith-activated texts, it is, and all I can say is I felt really led very specifically to the topics for this week and because, in the worthy framework, it's about being whole, it's about optimizing who we are, our spiritual life, our health. It's about becoming resilient emotionally, choosing our emotions, choosing our mindsets and really making progress and headway. In that it's about that transformational process. It's about becoming healthy and establishing healthy habits. And then this culmination part I think the reason why I feel so this need to just kind of push the envelope a little bit here, maybe a little bit stronger than you're used to, is because I know that as you are marching forward, being courageous, taking steps toward your calling, I know what's going to happen. The enemy's coming after you and the more you step into your calling, moving forward. It is going to bring up every insecurity that you've. You thought you were insecure before. Oh, no, girl is coming. Every self-doubt you ever thought about yourself, all of this stuff is going to come up at a brand new level. I think. Brand new level. I think, how's that for encouragement? Okay, the reason why I'm sharing that is because I think setting proper expectations is absolutely important. Good leadership does that and as your leader, as your mentor, as your guide, as you are elevating, as you are going next level, as you are moving forward, as you are breaking through, you've got to know what's coming.
Speaker 1:Your verse today is 1 Peter 5, 8. Be alert and of a sober. Let me start again Be alert and of a sober mind. Your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring I can't say that word Roaring lion looking for someone to devour. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of being a tasty little treat for the enemy. I am tired of letting him in my head, in my space, in my essence, in my productivity, in my life. I am tired of letting him in my sinful patterns, where I get offended, where I am not practicing walking in humility or forgiveness. I'm tired of giving the enemy any access in my life and listen, I want you to be tired too.
Speaker 1:So us standing in our authority is standing on the promises of God, it's obedience to his word and it's also being alert and being vigilant. And so, as you're in this transformation process, I am encouraging you, I'm imploring you. Keep your eyes open of where you are letting the enemy into. Access to the Perfect love. Cast out all fear. The enemy comes in fear, in intimidation. Those are spirits that are not from the Lord. We let the enemy have access to us through the spirit of fear and intimidation, and you can renounce that. You have the authority to stand up and say no, I reject that, I renounce that. In the mighty name of Jesus, you stand in your power and your authority of the Holy Spirit that's inside of you. You can read through Ephesians 6. Authority. So we're called to be ambassadors. We're also called to stand in our authority. And so, sister, I am encouraging you right here for you to have a victorious life, success, success in your life, for you to operate in the space of peace, of joy.
Speaker 1:That the Father says is yours is a steadfastness in the struggle, it is a trust and a confidence that God's got me. It is a place of surrender and seeking the Lord. It's a place of surrender and seeking the Lord. It's a place of submission. It's a place of repentance of our sin and the things that are holding us away from God. It's a carefulness of what we listen to, of what we're watching, of how we're spending our time and our energy. It's a guard over our heart, over our mouth, over our soul. This isn't meant to be overwhelming, but this is our Christian life and our Christian responsibility and obligation.
Speaker 1:We are to search ourselves. We are prone to, to, to our flesh and the enemy's like okay, good, oh, yep, she's going back to that pattern of fear. Bam, there he is again, and so let's make progress in this area. Learn about your authority. Learn and this is what I'm doing I am learning about my authority. I've got two books at my house right now I'm digging through the scripture. Lord, what authority do I have? Because I want it all. Whatever you're giving me, I want every bit of it. I don't want to leave anything unscathed here. I need every bit of what you're giving me so I can do my life well.
