Can I ask you something real quick? What if the thing holding you back isn't your schedule, it isn't your season or your circumstance, but what if the thing that is holding you back is your habits? What if God is ready to take you to the next level, but he's waiting on you to get faithful with what he's already put in your hands? This is a real thing, a real issue for all of us, and this podcast is where we stop sabotaging but start stewarding and finally walk in the fruitfulness for what we are made for. Hello, welcome back to this Fit Soul podcast, where we build healthy habits to honor God, to fuel our purpose, to unlock the next level, so we can impact make the impact that we're called to make for generations. This isn't just about us. It's about honoring and stewarding the things that God has already given to us.

Speaker 1:

And let's just be really clear Breaking bad habits is hard. Establishing new healthy habits is hard. Establishing new healthy habits is hard. Both of them are hard to do and they take intentionality, they take consistency, and I know so many women and myself included in the struggle walk with a lot of shame because they're not as far as they want to be with their healthy habits and then that shame cycle causes a whole circumstance, a whole, nother circumstance, it's a whole sabotaging behavior. I mean, how many times have you said, oh, I'm going to start eating healthier or whatever it is that you're, I'm going to start exercising, I'm going to start reading my Bible more, I'm going to start doing this, and you do it for a little bit, but you, you're not consistent with it and then you feel really crappy and bad about yourself. So I want to address how to stop that behavior in this podcast. I feel like you're going to walk away super encouraged and motivated and also empowered on how you can stop some of the sabotaging behaviors that you have and actually make some progress. All right, today on this podcast, we are going to break a few things down and how to disrupt the sabotaging behaviors, break the cycle but build true life, and I'm super excited. So what I'm going to share with you today is actually a faith activation text with my walk worthy mentorship. Each morning I send them straight to their phone a voice, a voice memo of me. It's like a mini podcast, except that it's very strategic and specific to the coaching program and these pod the podcast excuse me, the fats we call them fats faith activated text really are a key part of the coaching program, because it's not something that you need to read, you don't need to stop, but it's that hearing regularly with God's word and also with just the overall themes of the reminders. There's something very powerful about having consistent reminders, strategies, frameworks, blueprints, the encouragement to keep going, and so that's what those faith activation texts provide.

Speaker 1:

The Walkworthy Mentorship is for women it's mostly midlife, but honestly not excluded to midlife and beyond to help you live the confident, energetic, joyful, authentic life God has designed for you. That is, his design for your life is to live this thriving life, and so, as a certified high-performance coach, as a follower of Jesus, we really take the scripture in a biblical framework along with the power of neuroscience and how we actually create change in our life. It's super powerful. So I teach you those high-performance habits to help you move forward, and it's amazing the progress these ladies are making. Not only are they losing weight, not only are they getting healthier, but they're activated, they're going out in their callings, they are making a difference in their families, they're understanding that they're made for more and they're rising to that occasion and they're also making impact in their communities. So I want to encourage you.

Speaker 1:

If you are looking for a next step, a next level, and you are kind of missing some pieces to get you from where you are now to where you want to be and you kind of you've stayed stuck in some cycles with that for a long time, coaching may be the exact thing that you need. Coaching will call you higher, it'll champion you. It'll put you also in community where there are other women that are moving forward Sometimes we need to up-level our peer group and then it'll also challenge you. It'll challenge you out of those bad habits and not leave you comfortable in the places that you know that are no longer serving you. So coaching is one of the most powerful ways to help you learn how to master habits, govern your thoughts well, master your psychology. Take mastery over your emotions instead of your emotions taking over you, really building that grit and that resiliency, that determination and community. The Walkworthy Mentorship provides for you that structure and clarity to help get you there. So you can check the show notes or you can also go to walkworthythefitsoulcom. Walkworthythefitsoulcom. Okay, well, enjoy this podcast and if you find value, please share it with somebody else.

Speaker 1:

I want to check in with you this morning and just help you get your mindset straight for this week to go and accomplish the things that you need to accomplish, and link arms with you, and it's almost like I just have this picture in my mind of us linking arms together and it helps us stand up a little bit straighter. It helps us almost, like you know, when you are focusing on your posture and you suck your belly in and you pull your shoulders back and you're like, oh, I'm gonna do this thing even better. And that's what I see is us linking our arms together and doing this thing better. I mean life. I mean the Christian life, I mean pursuing excellence, walking worthy, moving forward, being present, being mindful of the things that matter the most to us, of the things that matter the most to us, living a life of intention, making the impact that you and I are called to make, focusing on being fruitful, focusing on being faithful To God and then also honoring the gifts and talents that he's placed inside of us and taking really good care of our bodies, all at the same time as we're focusing on being healthy habits, as we're focusing on healthy being healthy habits, I really like for you to be very decisive and clear on what are you working on right now and what actions are you committed to taking for your health. If you're not making traction, what I'd like for you to consider doing I know this is going to sound counterintuitive to you If you are not making traction towards your goals, I want you to consider making them a little bit smaller, picking one thing this week. Let's do it for seven days. Seven days, I'm going to you fill in the blank. I mean, what is the thing that you need to do that God's calling you to do? I always want you to have some sort of a health goal. We can always level up our health. We can always level up our mindset. We can always level up our walk with God, our maturing, in that I really like for you to have a goal in each one of these for the month, and that I really like for you to have a goal in each one of these for the month. And then your weeks. Are you're able to very clearly go yeah, this is my goal. I've been focusing on my nutrition. My nutrition has been my big goal, reining that in, getting it, in getting it healthy, getting it optimized. Oh man, it's just, we're all on this journey and so we're on this journey together.

Speaker 1:

I read the scripture this morning and I read it in the amplified version. I've read this verse a bunch and you probably have too, but I pray this morning that you could just have this open heart and listen to this verse John 15, 2. This is again the amplified version. It says Any branch in me that does not bear fruit, that stops bearing, he cuts away, trims off, takes off, and he cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. What that washed over new to me, washed over afresh to me as I'm thinking about us being healthy, spiritually healthy, mentally healthy, physically, having healthy, vibrant relationships with God, with others, with ourselves. It washed over me in a fresh way of being fruitful and thinking of the fruits of the spirit and how are they manifested? How are they obvious in my life? How are the fruits obvious in your life? How can others see? How can we be fruitful so we can multiply? For the kingdom's sake, come on now. That's preaching. You know it is.

Speaker 1:

And here's the thing.

Speaker 1:

When I read that this morning, I was like Lord Jesus, I just prune away. What is it? But I want you to get specific with the Lord. What do you need to prune? What does God need to prune out of your life? That's a way to start a Monday morning, right, but I'm telling you, I felt like the Lord just wanted me to say this this morning so we can look at our physical. What is it that he needs you to prune away from your life? To be healthier, to be more energetic, to be the best, optimized, healthiest version of yourself? Is it too much sugar, too much processed foods, too much alcohol, too much caffeine? Too much? You name too much alcohol, too much caffeine, too much. You name blank, fill in the blank, what needs to be pruned. Is it too many excuses, too many start and stops Like too much, I'm going to do this, and then there's no consistency, no follow-through. What is it? What about in your mindset man? The Lord's been working with me on this one, busting through some mindsets that I just he's brought it to my attention and then confirmed it and I'm like okay, lord, I'm ready, I'm ready to go ahead and take this to the next level.

Speaker 1:

What mindsets are kind of holding you back, sabotaging you? How about spiritually? Is there maybe a little lack of gratitude, just discontentment, feeling kind of blah, and you've lost that fervor, you've lost that joy. Maybe you find yourself scrolling so much and you find yourself stuck in some comparison and it feels gross. It feels gross to your soul, and so I just want to challenge you this morning. Listen, I'm your coach. I am here to encourage you, but I don't want you to sit in places that they are undeserving of you.

Speaker 1:

You are a daughter of the king, you are royalty, and for you to get next level in your health, on your goals in your life, ask the Lord what needs to be pruned away so I can bear more excellent fruit. May we be fruitful. May we be fruitful. May we be multiplying. May we focus on being healthy and whole and vibrant. It's ours for the taking. We have to do the work. It's not going to happen automatically. So do the work, honor, hard. Ask the lord what does he need to prune away? Chip away in you. He'll reveal it to you. He's revealing it to me.

Speaker 1:

This hit on this, hit me hard. I was like okay, lord, we're going there. I love you so much. I'm honored that you're here, I'm honored to be your coach and if you are hearing the slightest bit of condemnation right now, like, oh my gosh, I need to have this pruned and this pruned and this pruned, oh, I just suck. That's a voice of the enemy. That's a voice of the enemy, reject it. But if you're hearing, what I want you to hear is maybe a fresh conviction, and we're up for that. So, so be discerning of what you're hearing and what you're feeling, and know that the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy, but God comes to give us abundant life and we want to be fruitful and multiply right, all right, have an amazing day.
