123 | Stop Striving, Start Thriving: The Faith-Fueled Shift from Scarcity to Abundance
Ever find yourself stuck in the same exhausting cycle—hustling, burning out, recovering, and then doing it all over again? If so, you’re not alone… and it’s not a character flaw. It may actually be a worldview problem.
In today’s powerful episode, I’m sharing a breakthrough I’ve been living and testing over the past six months—and it’s been nothing short of transformational. It’s not about another productivity hack. It’s about shifting the way we see God, ourselves, and what’s possible.
We’re diving into the subtle but destructive grip of a scarcity mindset—the belief that there’s never enough time, energy, money, or worth. Scarcity drives people-pleasing, perfectionism, and burnout. But abundance? It sets us free.
What if God actually provides everything you need? What if you could live from a place of rest, instead of constantly striving to earn it? This episode will give you the mindset shift and biblical truth to start making that move—especially as we enter Holy Week and remember what Jesus came to give us: life, and life abundantly.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
✨ The difference between scarcity and abundance—and how each shapes your life
✨ How scarcity shows up in productivity, worth, comparison, and approval
✨ Why perfectionism and people-pleasing may be rooted in fear—not faith
✨ Biblical truths that dismantle scarcity and awaken joy, peace, and purpose
✨ A practical invitation to live from rest—even in your busiest seasons

I've been walking through a transformation, and it's started with understanding two different worldviews, and I'm so passionate about sharing this. I had to almost test it out for myself for six months and allow myself the process of change, and I want to share with you exactly what this. It's four mindsets, but it's based in two different worldviews, and so what I want to share with you is so powerful and so transformational. In fact, I opened up my Walkworthy Mentorship, and so what I want to play for you today is my Walkworthy Mentorship. It was a live coaching call and I went in depth in why this is so amazing. So, anyway, welcome back to the podcast.
Speaker 1:I'm dying to hear what you take away from this particular message, and I just I'm here to cheer you on. I'm here to remind you that you are made for more, and that feeling inside of you it's there for a reason because you are made in God's image and he wants you to live an abundant life and thrive. And you don't have to hustle, you don't have to strive, you don't have to perform, you don't have to stay in a productivity overload, you don't have to stay over committed to and you don't have, you don't need anybody's validation but God's. I just want to remind you of that, that you're created to live a thriving life. Okay, let's pop into that. Okay, all right, welcome. This is a walkworthy mentorship call, and what does that mean? This is actually, if you're not part of the walkworthy mentorship program, this is a coaching program that I run and I have this, like I kind of got a fire in my belly, like I've got something I'm just really excited to share, and it's my heart to see women all people, but particularly God's given me a mission to help women walk worthy of the calling for which they are called. I'm passionate for women to get freed up and to do everything that God's calling us to do, and I've been walking through my own variation of this over the last gosh, since October, I really started to do a head dive, deep dive, into what some different shifts for my life. And so, before we get started and before I bring you my special guest, hang on, let me find them. Okay, I've got some special guests, I'm about to bring them on.
Speaker 1:Before I do that, first of all I want to say I'm so glad that you're here. Can you drop in the chats and tell us where you live? Just drop in the chats and let me know where you live. And as you're doing that, what I want to ask you is do you ever find yourself in life struggling with maybe a similar variation of a problem, some sort of starting to see a pattern, and maybe you've even made progress on this pattern that you don't want in your life, but you notice that it comes back in some form or another? Anybody, if that's the case, but I want you to drop a one in the comment. Like you've actually noticed, there's a pattern. I've been focusing on breaking it and, for whatever reason, by golly, I'm back here in this pattern again. Anybody else? What I want you to do is drop a one in the comments.
Speaker 1:Okay, renee's like yes, yes, yes. Tyler says yes, yes, yes, yes. Oh, let's see where we are. Oh, I just love. Isn't this so fun? Isn't it fun that we can all connect? Michigan, madison, mississippi. Claudia's in Arizona. Claudia, what's your temperature there? Paula Dunn is in North Carolina, Rockwall, texas. Oh, so fun, I love. We've got a diverse group here. It's amazing.
Speaker 1:So what I wanted to share with you I've been walking through my own variation of a pattern. That's a very consistent pattern, and I've been fighting like heck to break it and I've been unable, but I feel like I got to the root cause of it. I got to the root cause of it and last October I just had to I was, I was able to like kind of sink my teeth into some really wonderful, beautiful, amazing teachings that were able to help. Okay, it was like a fresh perspective on biblical truths. So where I'm going to share from you, what I'm sharing with you today, where we're coming from today, is a biblical perspective with neuroscience, on how to have that transformation.
Speaker 1:God wants you to be free. I want you to drop a two in the comment If you're like yes, he does, that's for me. That's what I want. I want freedom. I want to operate in freedom. I want to operate in the abundant life that God talks about. I want to operate in the, in that place of this. I want everything that I'm promised. I don't want to leave anything on the table and I want to have.
Speaker 1:Jesus says I can have full peace and full joy, john 15. I want that, but why is it that I find myself back in this pattern that keeps me from accessing all of the full peace and full joy and I find myself stuck in patterns that leave me exhausted and all the things. Can anybody else relate with that? Before we get too far, before we get onto everything, hey, we got a Louisiana in the house, that's right. Oh, cindy, of course you are. Before we move on, what I want I want to hear from you Are you the same? Are you the same? You can relate. We're going to address this tonight. Hang on, hang on. I haven't introduced.
Speaker 1:I've got five special guests. I would like for y'all to meet and I want to show you, because I, who here has, if you've got grandchildren, drops like push the heart or something if you've got grandchildren. So, um, our 15 month old grandson is they're coming over for Easter and I see all the hearts coming up. Amazing, they're coming over for Easter. I want a bunny or a lamb, don't know. I think that would just be funny. A bunny like why not? Why can't we have a bunny or a lamb? Well, so it turns out I couldn't find a bunny or a lamb, but my husband and I, the other day, were in the tractor supply and guess what? They had ducks. The ducks are the cutest things ever, so you want to bring them over, honey, y'all. I? I just wanted you to have some eye candy. That's my husband, there's brandy, tell everybody hi hi everybody and look what we have.
Speaker 1:Okay, so this is Huey, dewey, louie, donald and Daisy. Look at that, aren't they darling? Can y'all tell them hi? I want you to notice something, because we're going to talk about this. Are they the cutest I know? Kimberly, right, what in the heck? Okay, I know, I know they're so cute Y'all. They're growing so fast. I didn't even tell you. They're getting faster and faster.
Speaker 1:Ramsey's not going to be able to keep up with them on Saturday. It's fine. It's fine. Like when we first got them, they I'm going to call on them. Okay, here, hold on to them. I'm going to hold one, but listen, they are always huddled together. Y'all remember that. Thank you, yeah. Yeah, they're always huddled together. They're always like in in the same little spot together. They're always connected. They're always with each other.
Speaker 1:In fact, when we went to go buy them, it was like how many do you want? I'm like I don't know. By the way, I have a responsible lady who has a farm and so I'm raising them until Monday and then we're going to meet and she's going to take them over from there. I'm not really set up to raise ducks where I live or in my situation. There are a lot of work, y'all. I'm just saying I had no idea, but it's been fun, it's been so cute. I had no idea, but it's been fun, it's been so cute, all right.
Speaker 1:So back to the point there. I wanted you guys to see them and see one of the things that's been so stinking cute about them is that they stay huddled together all the time. And when we went to buy them, they said you have to buy at least two, they have to have a little buddy, and you couldn't buy and leave an odd, like, just leave one. So, for instance, when we went, they had nine, nine of these ducklings. Those are Pekin ducks. I don't, I, I'm like on this huge trajectory of learning all about ducks really quick. I have to say. The rate to which they go to the bathroom is remarkable. It's incredible. Oh my gosh, it's ridiculous actually.
Speaker 1:So, anyway, all that to say they're always huddled together, and that's going to lead into our lesson for this evening about we're in a framework, but before we get started, before we get started, let's pray. Okay, let's pray. So, father, we just thank you for this time. We thank you, for I, just, I just bless every lady that's here, lord. We just thank you for them. God, I just thank you that they want to grow more into the woman that you've created them to be, so we can glorify you with all of our lives. God, I just pray. God, where I'm weak, you be strong, and Lord, help to make this message clear. You're your story, your story. Lord, help to make this clear so we can get freed up and walk worthy In Jesus' name, amen. Okay, and if you've never been on one of these calls before, let me know. Y'all just drop that in the thing.
Speaker 1:But this before we get started, before we jump into what we're talking about tonight, let's have a little check-in. So if you haven't seen it, there is a let's see here. I'm going to share my screen. We've got the notes. Does everybody have the workbook for tonight? Let me find my workbook page and I can share it on here. Does everybody have? Oh my gosh, I hope I'm able to share this with it streaming on Facebook. I actually didn't really think about that, I think. Let's see here. I'm going to get the link control C. Let me see if I can share that.
Speaker 2:We'll try one more time time you make it very clear that this is not welcome in this society. In this moment it's upon a tactic where we are debating okay, let's see if we can try that again.
Speaker 1:Okay, I'm just going to drop it in the link here and go and grab that. If you want it, hang on, where's the chat? Y'all, I'm losing everything. If somebody has the link for this and could put it in there, that would be amazing. If not, let me see. Okay, here it is All right. All right, I've got the workbook link up in the chats. Okay, I've got the workbook link in the chats. I'm going to try to come back and go through this, all right. So let's just get started.
Speaker 1:This is a very special week. It's Holy Week and for us as believers, the power of what Christ did for us on the cross is sacred. Right, I mean, getting ducks is fun and bunny rabbits are cute. Y'all are probably like me. I've got bunny rabbits in my house and I've got all the Easter stuff. But the reality is is that bunny rabbits have nothing to do with the resurrection and the sacredness of the Easter holiday, right, and so can we just take a moment before we get started and just check in?
Speaker 1:I love to start with gratitude. I love it. It changes our brain, it helps us to shift out of anxiety and fear and worry and helps to recenter us and helps to actually create more joy. So can you, if you will? What I want you to do is just ask you today what are you grateful for? Three things, what are three things that you are grateful for? And I want you to think specifically of this Holy Week. It is the Holy Week. What Jesus did on the cross for us, that sacrifice, and the fact that Resurrection Sunday is the hope for all believers. It is the hope that is within us, is it not? When we stop and we realign and we recalibrate with the magnitude and the beauty of this holiday and this Holy Week and remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us and all of the excruciating physical pain that he went through and the mental anguish for you, for you, for me, we're lost without him. So what I want to ask you is what are you thankful for? I want you to write down three things that you're thankful for. I'm going to try to pull it up one more time. Can y'all see that? Yes, woo, woo, it's the little things. It's the little things like managing tech and all the things.
Speaker 1:Okay, here's the other thing. I'd love for you to always be able to think of three goals that you're currently working on. If you've worked with me at all, if you are in the Walkworthy mentorship we always talk about what are our three goals that we're working on, and it's this clarity around these things that help us to move forward. These goals should reflect your values, your goals. Where is God calling you to live? What does it look like in this season? So it's not so much about like how are you going to crush it in the next 90 days, but what are your top priorities for this season? And the more you keep clear about that, I promise you, the more you're going to move forward in your life. That I promise you, the more you're going to move forward in your life. All right.
Speaker 1:Next question I want to ask you here is what fresh revelation, wisdom or conviction is God showing you about your identity, about your calling or the position that you have as a believer in this season? What is he awakening in your spirit? I have the scripture reference here Ephesians 1, 17 and 18. And I absolutely love the scripture and listen. By the way, I didn't introduce myself. I am not a preacher at all by any stretch of the imagination, but I am a follower of Jesus and because of that, and if you are too, you don't have to be a preacher to be able to share the truths from God's word. Can I get an amen? Can I get an amen on a Monday night? Drop that in night. Drop that in. So here's.
Speaker 1:The scripture says this that God may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. God wants you to have knowledge and revelation of him, okay, and that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of his glory in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards those of us who believe that is working for his mighty power. God wants you to know so many things. What is he showing you in this season? And if you're like Amy, nothing, okay. Are you spending time with him? He wants to show you stuff. He wants to enlighten you. He wants your heart lit up. He wants you to know so many things. Are you asking him, right? Are you asking him? What does James say? Come, ask me for wisdom and I will give it to you liberally. If you don't know what to do, go to God, right? Okay, next is aligning ourselves, so we want that awakening in our spirit. God is speaking to us. He wants you to know things. He wants to reveal things to you about you, about him, about your life, about your next steps. Align what is God here?
Speaker 1:Where do you sense a need for a realignment, a recalibration? Are your current goals, habits and mindsets aligned with the best of who you are and with where God's calling you to be in alignment with your priorities? Does that make sense? We can have all sorts of goals that take us out of alignment. For God's best for us, we can be pursuing passionately the wrong things. Anybody ever done that? I will raise both of my hands, spent energy time, and it was not that it was bad causes. They were good causes, but I was out of alignment. And when you get out of your alignment, you're exhausted, you're striving, you're in this constant hustle mode, and that is not God's best for us. It's just not right.
Speaker 1:Okay, lastly, is activate. What? Where are courageous steps of faith you can take this week to live out your calling with integrity and obedience? I have a I have a holy week variation of this question. Are you ready? Who could you share your faith with this week. Who could you share the reason that you have so much hope inside of you this week, and not just a happy Easter? Who can you share the gospel with this week? And that probably will take courage and some boldness right, so I thought I would just put that little challenge for us here. So I thought I would just put that little challenge for us here, okay, so kind of getting recalibrated and getting ready to move forward into our lesson. Here's what I want to share with you. One of the things that, in fact, I have a link I'll put it in the Walkworthy Mentorship Facebook group I'll try to put it back out, maybe in an email too Facebook group I'll try to put it back out, maybe in an email too is understanding. What worldview are you living from If you find yourself consistently going back to patterns of behavior that are not okay for you or you're fighting to break them in your life and maybe you're making a little bit of progress, but somehow or another, it kind of maybe if you're being really real?
Speaker 1:I had to be really honest with myself and go. You know what? I think my default pattern is massive states of busyness and hustle. I'm more comfortable doing, doing, doing than I am being and I'm learning, I'm getting better, but I still have this place to where that's kind of my natural default, okay. So what I want to ask you now, before we even kind of get started here, is what would be some of your default patterns that you keep returning to Even though you don't want to. I want you to kind of think about that in your mind.
Speaker 1:And so, as we're here in the Walkworthy Mentorship, we go through a framework of worthy as an acronym for whole, optimized, resilient, transformed, healthy you, and we're in the transformed process, in the transformed module right now. And when we talk about transformation, we talk about like, how do we actually have the transformation to? Where that awakening? But I'm different, like this happened. I had that awakening, that Kairos moment, and I'm not the same and I'm not going back, but it might not be perfect moving forward but that was such an awakening, that was such a a, a specific moment in time, like a God moment in time, a Kairos moment, that I will not go back to that part of who I was Anybody. Is that resonating with you guys? Type it in the comment. If that's resonating, I really want to see.
Speaker 1:Let's see here, and one of the things that really helped me over this last few months I guess I would say the last six months is last year. I hit a new phase in place and I knew that there was more. Y'all hang with me. I knew that there was more and I had to break a glass ceiling of my own limited beliefs to access it, and I knew I was on the cusp of getting to a next level of belief that was going to get me to the next level of some other things in my life. I knew I was there.
Speaker 1:Has anybody ever had those moments? You're like it's here, it's happening. In fact, what I almost am sensing inside me is fear of failure, not fear of success, cause I'm going there Like this is, this is just going to happen. That's why I was, and this was the only thing that that I had a fear of, and I had a coach. I was on a coaching call. I'll never forget it, because what are you afraid of? Fear? What fear is driving this? That I'm going to get stuck back and hustle and grind and I'm going to go through another clinical burnout?
Speaker 1:Has anybody had that fear of success Like I have to hustle and grind? Yes, amy's, yes, okay, I see you guys, I have to hustle and grind or it won't happen. I have to work. I have to constantly stay busy, constantly work, constantly be striving for this to be successful. Anybody else? Yes, yes, yes. I can't rest, I can't slow down. And to build momentum is great. Now the momentum is shifting. It's going to even require more and more and more and more and more of me. You guys are lighting it up.
Speaker 1:Okay, here's the problem that I kept bumping into, like hard bumping into, like running into. It is patterns of hustle and grind that lead to exhaustion. I start to lose this peace and this joy that I'm promised because I'm in that mindset, that mode. Okay, so let's talk today. And here's what I realized it was a worldview that I was seeing through instead of operating at a different capacity. So I'm seeing that I am. Y'all are feeling the same thing. So let's just break it down real quick.
Speaker 1:And here's what I want to ask you is what does abundance mean to you? What does abundance mean to you? Type it in the comments. When you think of abundance, what do you think of? Liz? You upped your supplements. I don't even know what that means. More than enough, limitless, limitlessness. Oh, I like that Limitlessness. Yes, more than enough limitlessness. So let me ask you this what does it look like for you to, in your life, to have abundance in your life, and maybe, with the dreams and the desires that are in you, they're here. What does that mean for you? More than enough, more than needed, operating in joy, using my skills? I like that, liz, blessed extra. Oh, donzilla, extra, extra, I'm a little extra too. I love it. It's an alignment. Oh, christy, you're so. I just love the way you speak. It means that we're in alignment, right, and I want to share with you this word.
Speaker 1:Abundance is so important to me. I love this word Since I was a teenager. My favorite verse in the Bible is Ephesians 3.20. Now, to him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all, we ask, think or imagine according to his riches in Christ Jesus, amy Laney says Lanyette. All the Louisiana people are like that's right. That's right. All that we ask, think or imagine. In fact, I led a large team and the name of my team was Team Abundance.
Speaker 1:I love that the word I love to dance. I love that the word dance is in the word abundance. Like abundance, like it's just like the best word ever. So for me, I love, love, love the word abundance and I feel like I operate by that. So let me ask you this what does scarcity mean to you? When we start to break down scarcity versus abundance, abundance versus scarcity, what does scarcity mean? Not enough, lack and not enough. Lack, right Lack of what I think I need. So lack and not enough.
Speaker 1:So, when we think about abundance, the thing that shifted for me, that I started to apply it differently, was in this, and I really need to know if this resonates for you, because if it does, I need you to drop it in the comments. You guys are doing great in the comments and that there is enough and I have access to everything that is joy and that is peace. Which is who here of everything that you want in your life, do you want joy and peace more than stuff? Yes, it's like you get to a certain. It's like, oh, yeah, yeah, I want joy, I want peace in my life. Yes, yes, yes, right.
Speaker 1:So we're not talking about, like you know, all this extra stuff, but if we start to think about where, when we think about the word abundance and God is enough and more than enough for everything right. And then we start to think about with you know, like even just the children of Israel when they were wandering in the wilderness, what did they have every single day for them? What did they have every day provided for them? They had manna, right. How much manna did they have for each day? Somebody type that in the comments how much manna did they have for each day? They had enough. What happened? All their needs, that's right. What happened when they got too much, too much manna? What happened to the manna? It rotted. So it's not that they had more than enough, but they had enough. Does that make sense? Let me let everybody in. They had enough. It's spoiled.
Speaker 1:And so when we start to think about what is enough and being connected to what does God say that we have access to is enough. We have full joy and full peace, but it's connected to what. It's connected to the vine, it's being connected to God. And so, if that is my portion, and this is what I have as a believer, why am I not accessing it? Where is this other coming from? Why is my default mode that I go back to the hustle, the grind? Why am I like, in my regular rhythm, even though I'm fighting it, do I end up back in this? And so I started to shift through some of those thoughts.
Speaker 1:If I am connected to the vine, if I am believing that there's enough, then what this really helped me so much is that there's enough time, there's enough time. I stopped. We're going to go over that in just a second. There's enough time. I'm not too old, it's not too late. I don't have to cram everything into this particular time. There's enough time, there's enough resources, there's enough to go around. There's enough to go around. There's enough life.
Speaker 1:And when I started to make that shift, that one shift because I know I've got a lot of hustlers, I know I've got a lot of strivers on here, I know I've got a lot of just ambitious women that are crushing it, I know it, and y'all are probably stuck in some of these things that I'm talking about when I stopped and thought, okay, wait a minute. In God, in abundance, there is enough, there's enough time. Why do I have it took the pressure off. God works from a place of rest, not work. And so I started to shift and thought, okay, well, what if I work from a place of abundance and I operate my life from a place of abundance, that there's enough, there's enough, there's enough. There's enough for me, there's enough for you. And this one thing started to shift everything. I made this checklist for you. I want you to go through this. Let's just kind of talk about it.
Speaker 1:So we've talked about I love that God works from a place of rest. That's right, christy, I love that too. It really, if you think about it, that changes everything. Instead of working, working, working, working. Oh my gosh, I'm exhausted. Now I've got to go crash to. I am working from a place of rest and joy, and it's lighter, it's not as hard, it's not as heavy, it's not as exhausting. My gosh, I feel like I got my life back the product.
Speaker 1:I'm calling this the productivity pressure, feeling like I want you to just be honest with yourself. I'm only enough if I produce, perform or achieve more. I've got to get that next level, I've got to do that next thing. And then I feel good about myself. Who here feels guilty when you slow down or rest Can't do that? Sometimes me, yeah, how about this? If I'm not constantly doing, I'm falling behind. You know, christy, I like that. You said that stinking thinking and conditioning. I do believe that this is so much of the conditioning that we have on ourselves. But this is the culture that we live in. Right being still feels unproductive, like I'm wasting time. I can't just sit and be. I want to share with y'all, in preparation for this, knowing this, knowing I'm coming to share this with the Walkworthy Mentorship tonight. I've been walking through this.
Speaker 1:I woke up yesterday and I was tired and I was like you know what? I'm going to take a day off like a day of rest, and just I've got these ducks. Those ducks are more work than I'm surprised about those ducks, anyway, but I just wanted to work in my yard, I wanted to catch up on some things in my house, but I wasn't going to do like work, work, like I was going to even take a detox from my computer and my phone until I remembered that I needed to go work on something real quick. It wasn't going to take me very long on my computer. Okay, there I was, I did this, I worked on my computer and then it reminded me that, oh, you know what. And then it reminded me that, oh, you know what, I need to go ahead and post about this particular class again, because the people need to know, and so I've got to go into my stories and do all the things.
Speaker 1:And here's the thing, before I knew it, what was I doing? I was working, I was supposed to be on a digital detox, I'm supposed to be resting, but I was right there back in that productivity pressure, because it's not enough. I hadn't done enough. There's always more. I need to go do more. This isn't enough. Do you see how? That stinking thinking, though, keeps us stuck? It's constant. You love the ducks, liz. They're so stinking cute. Okay, here's the other place. I want you to really think about this, because this is coming from your false identity, not the truth of who you already are. It's your false identity. Okay, the worth wound.
Speaker 1:So many of us operate from a place of unworthiness. We operate from a place of I'm not good enough. We're operating from a place even of guilt and shame. How do you control that? We're going to talk about that. We're going to talk about that that we have to earn our value. We have to be. When I'm successful, then I will feel more worthy when I am. It's almost like this perfectionism right, if I'm not needed, I'm not valued.
Speaker 1:A lot of women really struggle with. As the kids start to leave the nest, as the roles and responsibilities are changing, what happens? We lose our purpose. We lose. We feel like, oh my gosh, there's nothing for us anymore. I've given the best of my years. There's nothing for me. Ouch, that was me right. So also this could be a worth wound. Is that? What do other people think about me? I need to be this, so I'm thought of higher.
Speaker 1:Liz says our failures in the past drive us to overachieve. Oh my gosh, yes, that was so me. That is the story of a lot of my life. Right there, it's like I've got to do this and I'm going to feel better about myself and it'll overcompensate for all the mistakes that I've made. I'm right there with you, because our mistakes define me. That's what I used to think. My mistakes defined me and they disqualified me. So again, that is operating from unworthiness.
Speaker 1:Here's another one is the spare, the scarcity spiral, that there's not enough time, there's not enough energy, there's not enough money, there's not enough support. I wish we had more time to break that down. There's so much of the things that are keeping you stuck. Is this right here? There's not enough time. What if there's enough time? There's just enough time.
Speaker 1:God says that I can restore what the locusts have stolen. What do you mean? There's not enough time On our timeline, maybe? Right, tyler, that's right. But God is enough. His timing is perfect. In his strength we're made strong. Our weaknesses are made strong right when we're like we can let go of that perfectionism, we can let go of the I haven't done enough, there's not enough money, there's not enough money, there's not enough time, um, and that we can't do different things. That keeps us stuck and exhausted. Have you ever thought that, oh well, they're crushing it over here, or maybe they're even like, uh, it's like they might sell the same type of thing that you do, or they're kind of at a similar type of, maybe industry or level, and you see them crushing or going to the top and you're thinking, oh, okay, well, there's less for me because they're getting that Comparison. It truly is the thief of joy. It really does.
Speaker 1:And then the last two are the approval trap needing others approval to feel valid, needing others to um, or saying yes at a fear of rejection or disapproval. Also, not being able to ask for help because you feel weak, like you should be able to handle it all. You should be able to do all this. I can't ask for help. Look at her. She's crushing it. She keeps all the house. She keeps her house clean, she does all the things with the kids, she's running the PTA, she's running a successful business.
Speaker 1:And here I am. I'm just trying to like figure out how to, how to put a recipe together over here. Right, if we don't do it all, we're going to disappoint somebody. If I don't have my hands in everything, I can't control it and everything's going to fall apart. So do you see how this scarcity mindset shows up with productivity, with unworthiness, with a hold there's not enough time, there's not enough energy, there's not enough money, there's not enough support, that I have to go prove myself. I have to say yes to things out of fear of rejection. I have the fear of men rather than the fear of God. I can't ask for help. I've got to keep it all perfect. It's got to all look good. Do you see how this can stem from scarcity? And maybe scarcity looks different than what we thought about, and maybe scarcity looks different than what we thought about. Is that resonating with you? If so, drop a yes in the comments. Drop a yes in the comments. So, with that being said, where I really started to have the breakthrough was for me. Now I want you to think about. I'm so glad to hear all this Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen. I really came on this call. I was just like I've just got to share this because I've had such a breakthrough. A lot of you know and several if you were at the Worthy Woman Summit drop that in the comments.
Speaker 1:I, the Lord, led me to lead a summit. It was such a divine thing. Like Amy, go do this. I was like, okay, I'm going to go do this. I just had to do it. It was obedience and I didn't have a lot of time to plan this level of event that I was planning. Usually people take a year. I had six months, but I was just told to do it. So for me, it was just obedience.
Speaker 1:And here was the cool thing I was able to actually go and walk with this mindset there's enough time, there's more than enough. Don't know how I'm going to pay for this. There's more that God's going to provide. God is the abundant provider. I didn't know how anything was going to work out. I didn't know how it was all going to come together. All I knew was that God had it. I guess I could say that I was able to. I was so clear that he wanted me to have that summit. And I was walking through what does enough time, enough money, enough energy. I don't know how this is all going to happen, lord, but you're going to provide it. You're just going to have to because you've called me to do this. I'm going to go walk in obedience.
Speaker 1:And so, as I was walking through this, he sent unbelievable leaders in the fold to help me with like. They came to me and said Amy, god's calling me to help you with this. It was incredible. He sent Glenay I'm so glad you came down. That was amazing. He sent the right, exact people for me to talk to. He sent sponsors to help offset the expenses. When it came down to it, my goodness, the hands that came to help us get it all together was out of this world. All of the things that I was like oh my gosh, how are we going to do all this and put it together? Like I would worry, and then I would say okay, lord, you got to help me with this, there's enough time there. And I just walked through that with such peace and joy. It was incredible.
Speaker 1:And so, if we, here's, our scripture for now is Matthew 16, 25. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. The more we sit in okay, the more we sit in self-focus, self-preservation, self-promotion, the more you're going to stay stuck. The scripture right here says whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. It's upside down thinking, right. So here's what I want to ask you. I want you to think about. Go back to this section up here. Where are a couple of these that are true for you? And maybe it's the productivity pressure I know for me, this one right here is I only feel enough if I produce, perform or achieve more, and what happens is that the more we get into that cycle especially with digital and all of the dopamine hits that we get from our phone and devices it puts us in a place of isolation instead of connection with others.
Speaker 1:All right, so here's where the story of the ducks come in. The ducks live, they're always huddled together, and so now that I've got these ducks and we're going through all of this stuff with the ducks, we've got a little routine. So they, they, they're in a little incubation center. I bought this little starter kit in my guest bedroom. So now I take all of the little ducks and I put a little water in the bathtub in there and I let them kind of swim around in the bathtub like just a little bit, and they, they enjoy that. And I go and clean out their thing and then I take them when it's warm enough outside and we go outside. But here it doesn't matter if they're in their little crate or if they're in the bathtub or if they're outside in my protected courtyard. They're always in a huddle and then when I go to start picking them up, I just try to pick them up in twos, but there's five.
Speaker 1:So I cause I never want them to feel alone, but they always come back together and in so many ways in our life. That's what the Lord wants us with him, connected with him. And so when we have this worldview that God is enough, everything that he's given me is enough. I have responsibilities and activation. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that we just sit on our laurels and do nothing. No, but when I stay connected to him, I stay connected in community. This is what he wants. This is what he wants for us.
Speaker 1:When I allow the pressures of I'm not enough, I have to produce, perform, achieve. What is that about? Is that about him or is that about me? When we don't take time, because we're stuck in that hustle mode, to rest, to slow down, to recharge, to recuperate our energies, and then we feel like, if I do that, that I'm getting further behind. Can you see how that scarcity In God's capacity? There's always enough capacity, there's always enough.
Speaker 1:So what I want you to think about is where in your what three of these are showing up for you, two of these. Just pick what stands out to you I'm not enough because there's not enough time, there's not enough money, enough energy. Where is scarcity weighing you down? How is it showing up for you? And then the way that you can have real breakthrough is when you can start to get to the root cause of why. What is it? Why am I doing this?
Speaker 1:What belief has shaped this pattern of behavior in my life? What belief has shaped my choices, my habits or my emotional reactions to things? When I really started to sit into this? Because, like I told you, since I was a little a teenager, my favorite verse is Ephesians 3.20. Not to him who is able to do abundantly, exceedingly, above all, we can ask, think or imagine. I love this verse.
Speaker 1:So I feel like I love the word abundance so much, I believe in it so much, but do I believe there's enough time? Do I believe that there'll be enough energy, or do I need to go grind this out? Do I believe that there'll be enough energy or do I need to go grind this out? And here's the biggest. I think this is what got me was thinking through, like sustainability. Do you ever think that way? Like, if I continue at this pace, how sustainable is this? Does anybody ever think that? That's what I used to think? I'm like okay, well, I'm just going to do this for a little bit. I'm just going to do this for I mean, this is just a little short run, it's only for this year. Next year is going to be better. But then you find yourself like you're in that same pattern a decade later and you didn't want to be. Yes, yes, yes, okay.
Speaker 1:So how is this pattern of behavior affecting your peace? How is this pattern of behavior? Is it? Do you have rich relationships in your life? Are you too busy, stuck in the. Not enough that it's got you so busy and distracted. So the question is this is how is this affecting my peace, my relationships or my ability to rest? Is this is how is this affecting my peace, my relationships or my ability to rest, like, truly rest, not the rest I was telling you that I did yesterday. Oh, I'm going to rest, I'm going to rest, oh, but wait, wait, wait. I haven't done enough of this, let me go do a little bit more.
Speaker 1:Philippians 4.19 says and my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. So here's the question God supplies all of our needs when we partner with God, when we partner with the Holy Spirit, so much more can happen for you, the Holy Spirit, so much more can happen for you, so much more can happen in your life when you let him do the heavy lifting and you walk in like that Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, trusting in the Lord with all your heart, having ordered steps from the Lord, listening to him and moving at that capacity. That's been my goal this year is to operate at the rhythm and pace of grace, not this hustle that I find myself back in so regularly. So what are you afraid of might happen if you actually let it go? I had to catch my breath when I even said that, because when I think about that, I really I felt fear come up. It's like what happens if I actually let this go and I actually trust God and actually believe that there is enough? He shall supply all of my needs today. I don't see how this is going to play out in the future, but I don't have to worry about it because he's going to supply it in the future. What happens if I let it go and I actually partner with him and believe in his word and operate from abundance? Yes, yes, yes, right. What do I think God might want me to know or receive right now, in this time when I think about it like this okay, oh, we're doing so good on time is this resonating with you guys? Let me know if it's resonating. What I'd love to hear from you right now is like what's coming up for you and what might be a connection that you could take right now if we didn't go any further to move your life forward? I'm so used to depending on myself because of control issues if I let that go and depend on the Lord. It frees me from the perfectionism issues. Oh, melissa, that's so rich, that's so good. What happens when we get stuck in our self-reliance? Does that help us to be more connected to God and more connected to others, or are we more isolated? Drop it in the comments. Are you connected or more isolated?
Speaker 1:So the two worldviews here that we're talking about, this came from a. I'm going to give you the. This is kind of my take on this. I just kind of pulled some pieces, but Jamie Winship talked about two worldviews and here's what he called them the separation worldview and the connection worldview. Yeah, the connected worldview. So if you can kind of think about, like, what is keeping me in the connected worldview? If you think about Genesis one, what is keeping me in the connected worldview?
Speaker 1:If you think about Genesis 1, he says the basis of this comes from Genesis 1 and Genesis 3. Genesis 1, did they have? Did Adam and Eve have everything they need in the world? Did they have anything that they didn't need? No, melissa, you answered that perfectly. That was perfect. They had everything that they need and that's still the same God. God doesn't change today, yesterday or forever. You know. What's so interesting is is that Satan was in the garden with them, right, and they still had everything they needed. They were just told don't go to that tree and they disobeyed. So we know that.
Speaker 1:Okay, so I'm loving your comments over here. You guys, the thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. When you think about it like that, the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. Sometimes we think about this in huge ways and abundance is like over here.
Speaker 1:But let me ask you, in light of what we've been talking about tonight, what is being stolen, kill, steal or destroy in your life from not fully believing there's enough time, there's enough energy. You don't have to do it all. You don't have to be so self-reliant. You don't have to be self-reliant, god's got it. You don't have to be self-reliant, god's got it. What happens if you identify these patterns and maybe fear? Like we have two operating systems love and fear. Right, god wants you to have this thriving life. I want you to hear this Ladies type the word thrive in the comments. I want you to hear that God wants you to have a thriving life, no matter what's going on in your life, even the circumstances, the tough crap you're walking through right now. God wants you to have a thriving, abundant life. So how do we operate in that thriving life that God's calling me to have, and knowing that the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy? What are the patterns of fears that are keeping you in this scarcity mindset Right? What are they? I want you to think about that. I want you to like, literally think about it.
Speaker 1:This is where I started to think time, I feel like there's not enough time. I have to crush it Also. I mean, I could go off on that. I learned so much by reframing this connected worldview versus a separated worldview. I started to see how much my self-reliance, how much control and how much scarcity I was operating from. But when I was able to shift that into there is enough, god's got enough. There is enough. In fact, there's more than enough. God's got this. I trust him. There's enough. There's, in fact, there's more than enough. God's got this. I trust him.
Speaker 1:So I want you to take a moment and ask where's the? What is the truth for you in this moment, in this situation? What does God want you to know right now? Remember we started with that scripture in Ephesians 1, 17 and 18. God wants you to know about him. He wants you to have wisdom and revelation about him. He wants, more than anything, intimacy with you.
Speaker 1:And when we stay stuck in this other, we're not, we're no longer abiding with him, we're no longer walking intimately with him. And that's the thing where we're going to find our joy, that's where we find our peace. And then we get distracted again and then we're back over here hustling, and then we're back over here in our scarcity mindset there's not enough time, there's not enough money, I don't have enough energy, I'll never make it this. We go right back to that and we lose this connection and this peace and joy. So for me, the litmus test started to be peace and joy. Jesus says that I can have it. Then I want it. That's what I want. How do I do that? Well, it's trusting him. It's having more faith when I got hard circumstances and situations in my life. I don't know how they're going to turn out, I can't control them, but I can trust God. I trust God. Amy Laney says to trust him fully in everything. Yes, amen, so good.
Speaker 1:What would freedom look like for you to let this go? What would freedom I want you to type it in the comment. What would freedom look like for you to have if you let this go? Freedom look like for you to have if you let this go, that thing, that's where you've got scarcity, where you've got a separated worldview. What would you have? Access to Peace? Kimberly, how crucial is that for us? It's like when we partner with God, when we're walking with him, we have enough. It's critical. And when we get away from this and we're in this other worldview, where are we? It's exhausting. Tyler says it's like a heavy backpack of bricks taken off of my back. Come on, that's good. Jesus throws it away in the ocean. Christy says joy, love, abundance, peace, playfulness, creativity oh, I love that you use those words there. That's what freedom looks like when you let this go. And you're probably like me.
Speaker 1:This is a process. I am walking this out, but this framework for me has been powerful to identify that stuck pattern of behavior that I return to in some version. Form fashion. I say I'm not going to do it, but then I do it and I feel like I need to make excuses for why I'm so busy and why I need to say no. Does anybody understand that? Does anybody else? Do y'all understand what I'm saying? Y'all shake your head or drop it in the comments.
Speaker 1:Okay, listen, here's what I want you to do. I want you to rewrite whatever that lie is in light of your complete surrender and trust in Christ. I am more than enough in Jesus because there's enough time. I am more than enough in Jesus. There's enough time. I am more than enough in Jesus. There's enough resources. His resources are unlimited. Hello, mine very limited.
Speaker 1:At the last page of this worksheet. Print that out. I've got a couple of scriptures here for you and I've got some declarations. These are abundance declarations. Let's just. What I'd love for you to do is like pick it out. And Donzella says discipline and consistency, yes. And Donzella says discipline and consistency, yes, yes, yes. God is for me. I have enough. God is for me. No one and nothing can stand against me.
Speaker 1:Romans 8, 31. What if we lived that truth? What if we lived that? What about this? The Lord is my shepherd. I have everything that I need. I mean, I've been thinking about these little bitty ducks that I've got, my little ducklings. They're so vulnerable. Like I've got to take care of these little ducks, I feel so responsible. I didn't know I was walking into so much responsibility when I had an impulsive moment at the tractor supply store on Saturday.
Speaker 1:Okay, but what does Jesus say? What does Jesus say about the sheep? He leaves the 99 sheep to go, and what Chase the one? The Lord is a good shepherd. Even when we get off track and we go astray, he's like come on back. He's coming after us and the shepherd supplies everything that the sheep need. This one is my. This is one of my favorites. I've got so many favorites. God's goodness and his mercy are chasing after me every single day.
Speaker 1:What if we lived like that? So many of our problems are broken belief systems around what we believe about God. We don't believe he's loving, he's kind, he's merciful, he's mad at me. Does anybody ever have that problem? Well, god's disappointed in me, he's not happy with me. I didn't measure up. I'm not doing enough. Ah, did you hear that I'm not doing enough? Who here is busting their chops doing all this stuff? But you're not doing enough, because if you're doing more, then you feel better about yourself. Y'all see this vicious cycle that we're talking about.
Speaker 1:Once we get off this call, I have a feeling you're going to be like oh, my gosh, yes, and it shows up here and here. The more I think about the worldview, I'm like, oh, and it's here, and it's here. Jesus came. That I could have a life full, free and overflowing John 10, 10. My God shall supply all of my needs according to his riches and not my efforts. Philippians 4, 19. I'm not going to just forsake of time, I'm not going to read all of these. But here's the thing God's mercy and his faithfulness and his loving kindness never run out for you. It is abundantly full. He shall supply all of your needs. This is a rinse and repeat. This is a rinse and repeat. This is a different way, this is a different worldview. This is a different perspective. It's more than just a perspective shift. It's so much life-changing, such a life-changing shift for us to just acknowledge.
Speaker 1:So the first place of transformation and, ladies, in the Walkworthy Mentorship, you can go in your members portal there's a ton of stuff in science and research and neuroscience around change. But the first stage is awareness. The first place is for you to start to be aware, again and again, and again, and again and again and again, how this is showing up for you in a different verse, in a different chapter, in a different song. You'll see it a lot more now, and the more you're aware of this, the more you can stop it right, the more you can just say, okay, whoa, that's scarcity, there's enough time. I don't have to continue to do that, there's enough resources. I don't have to worry about that thing in the future, because God's going to provide all the needs. Does that? Do you see what I'm saying? All the needs, does that do you see what I'm saying?
Speaker 1:So all this to say what I would really love to hear from you is where is? Where is it that you can rewrite the lie that you've been believing in? The, in the places that you've been held almost hostage from stinking thinking, from incorrect belief systems, from self-reliance? I've got to do it all on my own, or it's not going to get done right or get done well to. I have to do this and to where is the lie? What is showing up for you and how can you replace it with the truth of who you already are? This is your true identity. You, operating from this place, is the truth of who you already are, and so you have to contend for it. You have to fight for it. So you have a little bit of awareness around it. Fight for it. So you have a little bit of awareness around it. But now you have to start fighting into this so you can achieve that peace, freedom, joy, creativity that is for you.
Speaker 1:Can I get an amen on a Monday night? Is tonight Monday? I don't even know what today is. It's Monday, right, yeah, can I get an amen? So what I would love to hear from you I want you to type this in the chats is what is standing out for you right now that, amy, it's this area is where I'm struggling with scarcity, and I know that if I apply this here abundance instead of scarcity I will have more. What? That's what I want to hear. If I apply this to what's this situation? Control issues, performance, striving, hustling, whatever it is for you, mine's the striver, the hustler, the you name it, and there's just not enough time I have to hurry in self-reliance. If I apply this to those areas of my life, what will I get in exchange when I exchange it for God's abundance? I want to see that. Drop it in the comments. Drop it in the comments. Okay, okay. I am really proud of myself, because I wasn't sure how long we were gonna go tonight, but I wanted to get through that.
Speaker 1:And what I'd like to hear from you? I'd love for one or two of you, if you want to, to come off of mute and share with me, like an aha, a takeaway that you have I would love to hear. Let's see who wants to come off. Where is? I can't see everybody on here. Usually Melissa belts the first one to unmute herself, so while I'm waiting on somebody to unmute themselves, somebody come off and tell me. But what I would love to hear. Okay, here we go.
Speaker 1:Joy, here's the things that you would trade for. I need to blast my old hustle patterns and stop being afraid. Trust in God so I can walk in peace. Joy and abundance. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 1:Tyler says joy, hope, purpose and peace, joy, self-doubt and trying to do it all. Yes, all right. So I hope this was helpful for you. I promise you, if you lean into this, it's a game changer for your life. And here's what I truly believe If you lean into this with abundance and you partner with God in every aspect of your life and you are moving in your purpose and moving where God's calling you to move, that so much more is available to you, so much more than you can ever ask, ever dream of, ever imagine. So much more. I think sometimes we're afraid to surrender it to God because he might take it away from me. I've worked really hard for this. Anybody else? I'm just calling it Like I'm just being super real with y'all. Liz, I see you've raised your hand. Come on in. I don't know if you mean oh, oh, she reached her. Okay, amy, uh, yeah, can you hear me?
Speaker 2:I sure can come on um, so I wanted to kind of testify a little bit here. Um, it's so empowering, reading chain breaking earth shaking. Yes, yes, you know to to hear this, because it gives me a feeling of I'm I'm okay, that I'm okay and things can get better, things can be reprioritized. You know, sometimes we just like you used the expression you're stuck, or, for me, you lose focus because you're in that race. What that race is, that thing that we're chasing or pursuing. You know, it's easy to do that once we get on that chase. But I just wanted to say, for me, hearing this tonight, um, just gives me a feeling of peace and that I'm gonna be okay because I am in God's hands. But it's up to me to take this information that I hear, which is truth. You've identified so much truth for us that now you know it's up to me to apply it, to take a step back and not have fear and say no FOMO. She.
Speaker 1:FOMO. She said FOMO, yeah, you're breaking up a little bit. Are you still there? Yeah, I'm here, can you hear me? Yeah, yeah, no, I love what you just said. Now it's up to me to take it and to move forward with it. But here's the thing, here's the beauty. What, if we take it with abundance? There's enough time for me to figure this out. There's enough time for me to apply this, like really even to that extent. And that that brings me to actually to a really good point, liz, that I want to like kind of jump off of that of what you said.
Speaker 1:Is that one of the things that is important that you stay in the truth, stay in the word, abide with him. And that's where it's at right. And one of the things that I do want to invite you to, if you're not already a part of our Walkworthy mentorship. The ladies in the mentorship every day receive coaching messages from me to reinforce this truth with the Bible. That's one of their favorite things of the mentorship that they get from me. I call them the FATS faith activated text and they are all in alignment with coaching and moving forward. Okay, so it's that place of just, you know, holding yourself at a higher level and moving forward at the same capacity as well. The other thing that we do here in this Walkworthy Mentorship is to reflect. It's important to stop and just like, truly reflect.
Speaker 1:It was I was sharing with the mentorship. For me, it was the last week of December. I was just reviewing my year and moving forward. I was like, okay, what do I want differently for 2025? How, what can I, what went well here and what do I want to shift so I can? What do I want different? And it I just like had a breakdown that led to a breakthrough for me personally. I was like I am, I feel like so much of the work that I do is I feel it's it's. It's in front of a computer, it's in front of a phone and what I want is to not work so much but be with people more. So I've just regrouped. I'm like I'm going to do things that involve more people and more community and more groups and just be around others.
Speaker 1:But again, if you kind of think about this, from what we're talking about, we're talking about a connected worldview versus an isolated worldview. A lot of us work remotely and there is a real price to pay for that with our mental wellbeing. Can I get an amen on a Monday night? Anybody else? Oh, melissa says the fats are gold. So, by the reflection, the pause, the review, what did I do right, lord? Where are you sending me right now? What do I want differently? Okay, how can I partner with you in this new phase, in this new season? How can I partner with you in this year?
Speaker 1:Remember, god wants to reveal things to you. Go back and read that Ephesians 1, 17, 18, 19. He wants you to know, he wants you to have wisdom and revelation straight from him. He wants you to know the power that's inside of you through him. He wants you to know what is the inheritance that is yours. You are a co-heir of Christ. I mean. This has a lot of what your position in Christ is powerful. He wants you to know these things, and what you have access to is full peace and full joy in this abundance mindset. Does it mean everything's going to work out right? No, it doesn't, but in that, real quickly, and we're going to break this down. Our next call is if somebody's got the date, throw it in here, and those of you that are on this call and would like to come join me in the Walkworthy Mentorship. Just message me, I'll share with you. It's an incredible group.
Speaker 1:Okay, the 20th, you guys are amazing. It is April the 23rd. So we have for sure two bi-monthly meetings and they're like this, they're to push you forward. I lovingly joke and say I'm paid to push and I am. That's what a coach does. A coach takes you where you are now and moves you forward. Okay, so when we come back and when we meet again, what we're going to talk about?
Speaker 1:The other three I said I was going to give you four mindset shifts. So we've done. The big one today is scarcity and abundance. The other one, this one started to blow my mind. I was like I can't wait to talk to you about this. We're going to talk about it on the 23rd.
Speaker 1:But mystery, embracing mystery, versus that control, right? I'm looking at my notes. I'm trying to find where they are. Okay, here it is. So here's the four broken mindsets of the worldview of separation, scarcity, certainty. I have to know, I have to know, right, that one gets me when we don't know and there's mysteries every single day. And if, what if we embraced the idea of the mystery of life, the mystery of God, the mystery of not knowing.
Speaker 1:There's some things in my life that I really, really worry about. I know you do too. I know you've got a lot of things too, and there's some things that I don't know how they're going to play out in 10, 20, 30, 40 years. I don't know. And I can listen y'all I'm not even joking. You're going to laugh at this. So my, my husband is precious. My best friend is 10 years older than I am. It's my very best friend. So I think a lot of I'm going to be a wee little old lady and what is that going to look like and who's going to take care of me? Does anybody else think about that? I actually read in a thing somewhere that says that women really worry about this. I actually found my own nursing home before I turned 50 years old. I was like I like that nursing home, that's the one I want to be in. I need to go ahead and put my name on a waiting list, like I was so worried about this. I know that sounds ridiculous, it's an irrational fear, but kind of not right. Like you know, I don't know who's going to take care of me, right? Anyway, all that to say, what about the mystery that's got it In this abundance mindset. Okay.
Speaker 1:The third one and we're going to talk about these in detail on our next call is perfectionism versus okay, listen, are you ready? Fallibility. It's beautiful when we can recognize and realize that we are imperfectly perfect we're a hot mess and a work in progress all at the same time. Perfect, we're a hot mess and a work in progress all at the same time. It is so powerful when we can just go yeah, I screwed up and I learned from that mistake and I'm moving forward like this, yes, yes or yes, like that's so cool, right. And then the last one is let me find my notes so we've got scarcity, certainty, perfection and self-focus, self-focus man, oh, self-protection, self-promotion, all of the things versus connectivity with others. So we're going to break that down on our next call.
Speaker 1:All right, ladies, I am so glad that you have been here with me tonight. What I really love, love, love, like it makes. It makes everything for me is for you to tell me your biggest aha that you got tonight and what are you going to implement, what is your biggest takeaway, what did you love the most and what are you going to implement moving forward, please, if anybody would like to come off of camera and share that, I would love for you to, and then I would love for um anybody to just share that with me or type it in the comments before we hop off tonight. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Tell me, tell me, tell me, as I'm waiting for you to type that in and get this in. I just want to encourage you to be gracious with yourself as you're processing this through and moving forward. Ladies, we are too.
Speaker 1:I am too hard on myself and so many of you are way too hard on yourselves. Like learning this from a place of truly of just compassion, like self-compassion, of kindness, kindness to yourself. Okay, so I can learn and I can work and I can figure this out in real time, right, so, okay, well, you guys, does anybody want to pop off? Does anybody have anything they want to say? I have enough of everything. That's right. Donzella, come on, girl. I love that. I love that. All right, have you been encouraged tonight? Do you guys feel encouraged? Do you feel like you've got some new nuggets to move forward? Trust his timing. That's time. Not fear, fear of God and not man. I love that. I love that Absolutely, okay, well then, that is so much goodness. Thank you, christy, definitely going to listen to this one again. Amazing, christy, I love that.
Speaker 1:Well, you guys, I just want to encourage you this week to lean in to the sacredness of this holiday and don't let the hustle. There's not enough time. All the people are coming, you know. Let's get really clear about what this holiday is about and remember and remember. Oh, what's that song by? Oh man? I can't even remember his name. I sent it out on an email last Easter. It just it. Nevermind, I'm not going to waste your time. I'm trying to remember the name of the Easter song I love so much Saturday's coming, sunday's coming, sunday's coming. Is that it? Phil Wickham? Phil Wickham, oh my gosh, okay, phil Wickham, I think it's called. Sunday is coming.
Speaker 1:You guys, I love that song so much and I found it, and so I just want to encourage you to take time, make time, go through, read the Easter story, read the resurrection story, and invite somebody to dinner with you, invite somebody to church, invite somebody to share the hope that you have with inside you. Yes, resurrection song is my favorite. Amen. Okay, well, let me pray this out.
Speaker 1:Lord, god, I just thank you. Thank you that you are enough. And, father, as we're moving forward in life, god, help us to walk in step with you and step with the spirit, lord, to be led by the spirit to surrender all of the things that we carry and that we pick up. And you're like I've got it, just let me have it, father. I pray, god, that you would, just we would be able to receive the impartation that you've got for us. God, you want us to have it. So, lord, help us to order our footsteps in alignment with you and who you are and what you're calling of us and who you say we are. Lord, god, help us to learn our true identity. All right, all right.
Speaker 1:Ladies, I love you guys. Have an amazing, happy Easter and a walk-worthy mentorship. I'll see you back on the 23rd and for those of you that would like to join me in the um walkworthy mentorship, you know what? I guess I'll have to send a link out. Maybe I'll send out an email and tell with. Tell you more about it. It's pretty amazing. You want to be a part of it, okay? Bye, tyler, bye, christy, bye, oh wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I've been here. I love you so much, akilah. I miss you. That's crazy. That's so fun. Happy Easter, lisa. Yes, happy Easter, amy Laney. Amy, the puppies love the ducks. It's so funny. You should see it. It's so stinking cute. Um, okay, bye everybody. Thank you for being here tonight.
